This is how they turned out:
Definitely not awesome, but good enough that I'm patting myself on the back (especially considering I had no pattern and this was my first time sewing elastic...and underpants for that matter). I am not the master of elastic, that's for sure! I've got to do some trimming where the fabric and elastic just don't line up. The elastic didn't make them as bunchy as I thought it would (probably due to the whole not lining up thing; next time I'll do waaaaay more pinning). The real test will come tomorrow when Scarlett tries them on.
