Feeling Crafty

One of my favorite things about Etsy is looking through and finding projects that I could make.  Or seeing projects that I’ve actually made before selling for ridiculously high amounts.  For instance, I saw this bird mobile on Etsy yesterday, selling for $18 (!):

Cute, but definitely not $18 cute.  But it motivated me to make this for Scarlett’s room:It only cost pennies for me to make.  I used paper I already had, 1.5 cents worth of string, 50 cents for clearance beads to weigh it down, and 20 cents worth of crimp beads (which ended up being unnecessary.  I could have just made knots and had the same effect).  So, 71.5 cents for me to make a project that’s selling for $18.  Nice.
